My name is Jessica Urton, and I am the owner of Trailhead Trader. My mission has always been, and still is, to make the outdoors accessible to everyone while also promoting the vital principle of “adventuring wisely” by embracing sustainability.

As a mother of three daughters, I’ve seen firsthand how the outdoor community can positively shape a life. It has been a guiding force for my family, creating a foundation of resilience, connection, and joy. For years, I had the pleasure of working as a hiking and backpacking guide, leading adventures for people all over the country and even in South America. Those experiences gave me a deeper understanding of how the outdoors can transform people’s lives.

I’ve poured this passion into Trailhead Trader, which has evolved from a retail store into a full-fledged community. Our goal is to show people of any age and any ability how to use the outdoors to make a positive impact on their own lives. We now focus on providing guided experiences through Trailhead Trips, which are designed to support our mission and build a community that believes every adventure can have a purpose.
