Consignment Information
We welcome gear and apparel that is gently used, in season, excellent condition, and freshly washed or dry cleaned. We do not accept items with significant wear, rips or holes or odors from smoke or storage.
Setting up a consignment account with us is free of charge.
The consignment period typically lasts 90 days for most items.
You earn 50% of the selling price for items under $500. For items priced over $500, you receive 60%. Additionally, if you choose to spend your earnings in the store, you get an extra 10%.
We do not accept counterfeit or imitation items. If we have an abundance of certain items, we may not be able to accept more, but feel free to check with us for confirmation.
For select items, we might offer you the option between consignment or outright purchase.

Consignment Policy
By consigning with Trailhead Trader, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy. We strive to ensure a seamless and rewarding consignment experience for all our consignors.
Consignment Period and Item Disposition
- The consignment period for most items is 90 days.
- Consignors must decide whether they will pick up their items or donate them if they remain unsold after the 90-day period.
- Items designated for donation will be given to Hope Wanders, and consignors will receive a donation receipt for their donated items.
Loss Prevention
- Trailhead Trader takes reasonable precautions to protect items under consignment. However, we are not responsible for loss or damage due to theft, fire, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Consignment Rates
- Prices set by Trailhead Trader are final and non-negotiable once assigned.
Pricing Process
- Trailhead Trader requires approximately 5 business days to price consigned gear.
- Our pricing policy sets a minimum of 50% off the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of the item.
